Safer Recruitment is an Umbrella Body registered with the Disclosure & Barring Service to undertake criminal records checks on behalf of other, often smaller organisations.Whether you have a single member of staff who needs to be checked as a one-off application or regularly recruit staff and volunteers who need a disclosure for their job role, we provide a fast, friendly and efficient service as well as professional guidance and support throughout the process.

Our staff are experienced HR professionals with a background in both public and private sector recruitment, Local Authorities, Schools and Colleges.

We provide client companies with a suite of supporting documents and guidance notes to help ensure safeguarding procedures are appropriate and robust. HR support and consultancy services can be purchased in addition or separate to the Disclosure process.

We are accredited providers of the ‘Safer Recruitment’ course to senior managers recruiting staff and volunteers to work with children and young people, a qualification formally recognised by Ofsted.
